Quick Craft - Robot

(Goblin is 30 months)
Goblin had spent most of the morning walking around with a plastic bowl on his head pretending to be a robot. So I thought I'd make him a Robot costume. I grabbed an egg carton and an empty cardboard box and set to work. Goblin was intrigued and asked what I was doing. "Making you a robot costume" I replied as I taped the egg carton onto the front of the box, cut some holes in it and nearly gassing us both by emptying half a can of silver spray-paint onto it. I dashed next door and grabbed a handful of stickers to decorate the box. And left it to dry. Goblin wanted to play straight away and started pressing the stickers as if they were buttons. "Awesome" I thought. He loves it. So after I scrubbed the silver spray paint off his hands from where he'd been touching the yet to dry masterpiece, I tried it on him.
Goblin was not impressed!

  3. You have me in fits of laughter every day. xx So sorry he didn't like it. His hands did get covered in paint though - you could call it a sensory play experience instead. :)
