Egg and spoon play

(Goblin is 29 months)
Goblin and I went with Bubble and his mum to their music class. As well as enjoying dancing, playing musical instruments, and showing the teacher his Lamby toy (Easter themed show and tell) Goblin played with an outsized Egg and Spoon.
The toy, from the Early Learning Centre, is such fun. You place your plastic egg on a giant spoon and try and walk/run while balancing it - the usual egg and spoon race senario.
But if the egg falls off the spoon (as Goblin's did frequently) it breaks open to reveal a little bean bag egg. Not only is this a very fun game with a lose Easter theme, but it is also great for both Gross and Fine motor skills.
Goblin enjoyed playing with it so much at the music class that I bought him his own set. He started playing the minute he got up and found them - he wasn't even out of his sleeping bag!
As well as the hand eye coordination and fine motor skills needed to keep the egg on the spoon, and the   gross motor practice of moving around, the egg and spoons come in a pack with 4 different colours. Before starting to play Goblin colour matched each egg to the correct spoon off his own back.

I'm sharing this with
