(Goblin is 29 months)
Panic! Panic! Its Mothers day on Sunday (well in the UK at least) and I hadn't sorted out cards for Granny and Nanny. As you probably know from my previous two rather pathetic posts, our family has been in quarantine with the lurgey, and I really wasn't in the mood for any inspired crafting activities. But I managed to muster the energy to do a little 'Super Simple' activity with Goblin and it turned out pretty cute so I thought I'd share.
I chopped up some petal shapes from a seed catalogue. Goblin had been using the catalogue for scissor practice earlier in the day (a nice activity that requires very little from ill parent). If your child has mastered scissors they could cut their own petals but Goblin is still at the stage of just doing straight line snips.Goblin had the glue stick and he took each petal and put glue on the back of it before handing it to me. I laid his glued petals out in flower shapes. When we had enough we stuck a yellow craft foam circle in the middle and sketched some green leaves and stems round the bottom.
Super cute idea! I hope you are feeling better soon, and happy mothers day to you on Sunday!

Cute idea. I bet my kids would have a lot of fun. I like the idea of making flowers with flowers.
